More than 70 percent of worldwide online search requests are handled by Google, placing it at the heart of most Internet users’ experience. Its headquarters are in Mountain View at California. Origin of the name "Google" From time to time I read or hear stories of the origin of the search engine and company name "Google" that is incorrect which prompts me to write this brief account based on my understanding of the genesis of the name.
